The La Marzocco Home Mobile App connects the home machine and the home barista in ways never before possible. When using the app, the phone becomes a new display for the machine.
This display makes it easier and more intuitive to adjust the machines parameters such as temperature and pre-brewing. Moreover, thanks to the app, the smartphone can be used as a remote control for the machine.
For both the Linea Mini and the Gs3 the app features, in local connection, the possibility to schedule weekly On/Off times and, in remote connection, the possibility of turning it On and switching it Off. Thanks to these features, the machine will always be hot and ready, whenever, without wasting energy or time. The Mobile App’s control panel for the Linea Mini and Gs3 gives the user a real-time feedback over use. When you are not brewing coffee with the app it is also possible to read news about the world and community of La Marzocco Home, watch tutorials on how to use La Marzocco Home products, and read FAQs to help you brew the best coffee possible. Lastly, with its internet connection, it will now be possible to benefit from new and exciting updates, as we add new app functions in the future.

What is Standby Mode? +
Standby Mode is a low-power mode that keeps your machine accessible via the app without turning it completely off. When in Standby Mode, your machine’s boilers will stop heating and will cool down and drop in pressure.
How do I stop my machine from automatically entering into Standby Mode? +
In order to stop your machine from entering standby mode, simply set the time on the app to ‘0.’
How can I exit Standby Mode? +
To exit Standby Mode, use the “Status” section of the App to turn your machine back on. Alternatively, flip the brew paddle on your Linea Mini on, then back off. On the GS3, press Fn + Power.
Is my machine compatible? +
Linea Minis with serial numbers starting with LM015906 and GS3s starting with serial number GS012984 come standard with the new connected board.
Do I need to use the app to make espresso? +
No, the App is not required in order to operate your espresso machine.
How do I download the app? +
My machine is not compatible, can I retrofit it? +
We will be releasing and selling a retrofit kit for all other Linea Mini and GS3 owners. Stay tuned for release date and availability. Sign up for our home barista email list to be the first to know.
Does the Linea Mini still have a temperature dial? +
Yes. Changing the temperature dial on the Linea Mini still changes the temperature in the coffee boiler.
Please note that changing the temperature from within the App will override the dial. Changing the temperature on the App will not physically move the temperature dial on the Linea Mini.
Can I connect multiple espresso machines? +
Yes you can. Simply head to the home screen on the La Marzocco Home App and tap the “+” button on the top right.
How do I connect my Linea Mini? +

How to Connect the Linea Mini:
1) Download the La Marzocco Home App
2) Open the App and select your machine model
3) Flip the Linea Mini power switch to the “off” position
4) Place the Paddle into the “Brew” position
5) Flip the Linea Mini power switch to the “on” position
6) Place the Paddle back to the “Stop” position
7) Tap “Next Step” to search for your machine
8) Select your machine to pair
9) Tap “Pair” on the Bluetooth Pairing Request notification
10) Tap “Confirm Pairing”
11) Name your machine and enter your wifi settings

How to Connect the GS3:
1) Download the La Marzocco Home App
2) Open the App and select your machine model
3) Flip the GS3 power switch to the “off” position
4) Hold down buttons 1 & 4 (single espresso and double coffee) while turning the machine back on, continue holding the buttons
5) Tap “Next Step” to search for your machine
6) Select your machine to pair ( you can let go of the buttons at this point)
7) Tap “Pair” on the Bluetooth Pairing Request notification
8) Tap “Confirm Pairing”
9) Name your machine and enter your wifi settings
